Third meeting plan:

                                                                      Thanh Hoa, December 12, 2023

Dear EFA members,

On behalf of the EFA Club Board, I would like to inform you the plan of the club:

1. Activities: There are three activities each time/week:

• Present the indicated topic: 5 persons will be indicated to prepare the topic with slides to present in front of others. However, all have to prepare the content for the common discussion. The designation will make sure everyone has chance to present.
• Improve the pronunciation through listening to stories & reading texts aloud each week
• Learn English through songs

 

2. Time division for each time/week:

Total time is 1.5 hour, will be divided as follows:

Present the topic: 40 minutes (including discussion) à 5 minutes for each talk plus 10 minutes discussion

Pronunciation improvement: 25 minutes

Learn to sing English songs: 25 minutes

3. The content for the 3^rd week

• The topic to present & discuss

With the Christmas atmosphere, we decided to choose the topic “What do you know about Christmas and how do you celebrate this?”

Ha said: To warm up our EFA a bit, I like to remind all of you:

1. Make a very nice introduction of yourself and try to speak it nicely. It would be great to make videos/audios then we might help you to improve it if necessary;

2. The topic for the next week will be Vietnamese culture/traditions: Choose 5 highlights of Vietnamese culture/traditions that you like the best to introduce to foreigners. You are encouraged to prepare with slides. The presentation should be 2 – 5 minutes./.
